The Midwest is populated with a varied mix of interesting shortline railroads. In this production, C. Vision cameras travel to Indiana and the lower peninsula of Michigan to bring you the fascinating activity of several shortlines within these two states. A few independent shortlines were documented before takeover by operator Genesee & Wyoming, and we will include action from Michigan carriers Marquette Rail as well as the last stand of the GE fleet operating on the Huron Eastern. Smaller bulk commodity-hauling lines like the Chesapeake and Indiana and the Southern Indiana Railroad are also featured, operating on lines within 2 different regions of the Hoosier State. The Indiana Northeastern, with its' Nickel Plate look-a-like geep fleet is also featured, as they ply their line which runs within the 3 Midwestern states of Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. Respondek Rails' Indiana Eastern operates an active portion of an old C&O mainline, and we were on hand to document their activity with its' handsome pair of former Algiers, Winslow and Western EMD SD9's. Vintage motive power, colorful varied paint schemes and pastoral scenery all highlight this special look at many interesting shortlines around Indiana and the lower peninsula of Michigan. All this and more can be found on C.Vision Productions' "Shortlines of Indiana and Michigan."
